I would like to spot you attention to the program that will help keep people with dementia safe. Program is called Reducing agitation level among people with dementia (specially those at the security wards - the most dangerous ones).

It is now being used in many aged care centres in Australia (including mine) with fantastic results. The program is based on playing as a background, specially composed by John Levine music, called alphamusic. It reduces stressed beta brainwaves into calm alpha waves. The patients are more peaceful, stress and anxiety level is reduced, same with agitation. I refer to the article published in Blue Print magazine in Volume 21 2010. If someone wishes to read that story, I am able to send a copy to everyone interested. It would be also worth to apply this program to other centres around the world. I ve seen the results myself, so I am toll advocate and supporter of such method. First i didn’t believe that something like this would work but when I was in the center of this process, I started to support MR Levine and his program all around the world. Please consider discussion about this program among people with dementia.
