Welcome to diaries on dementianet. This forum has been created for people affected by dementia, either directly or as a carer. We hope to foster a supportive network of people who are able to share their experiences, good and bad, and meet others who are going through similar experiences. These diaries are anonymous and we ask you to not divulge personal contact information here.
Keeping a diary may serve multiple purposes including ‘reducing the emotional load’, bringing users out of isolation to a place of support and understanding and it is also a useful way to track and monitor the progression of you or your loved ones journey with dementia.
