Home aids can be canes, wheelchairs or a toilet seat riser, for example. It can also be personally adapted home aids such as glasses, hearing aids, prostheses, etc. There are also different home aids to assist people with dementia with failing memory and for using if they have difficulties in finding his or her way.
Home modifications may be necessary for you to continue living in your residence. It may be a matter of removing door steps, shutting the gas off in the kitchen, etc.
